Dubai Marina was carved out of the desert in the early 2000s and transformed into one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. A 3-kilometer artificial canal winds through a forest of residential towers, with a paved Marina Walk running along the water. Yachts bob in their berths, restaurants spill onto outdoor terraces, and the skyline here feels like a different city from the old neighborhoods across town.

DMCC station on the Red Line is the main metro access point for the Marina. From the station, you can walk to Marina Walk in about 10 minutes, or connect to the Dubai Tram for stops along JBR and Marina Mall. The tram is included on your Nol card, so hopping between Marina, JBR, and JLT is just a tap in and out.

  • DMCC station on the Red Line is the main metro stop. From the station, you connect to the Dubai Tram, which runs along the Marina and JBR. Bluewaters Island is then a walk across the pedestrian bridge from the southern end of JBR.
