Is the Palm Jumeirah Monorail Part of the Dubai Metro?

No, the Palm Monorail is a completely separate system and doesn't take Nol cards. Here's how to actually get from the Metro to Palm Jumeirah.
This is probably the single most common mix-up for first-time visitors: no, the Palm Jumeirah Monorail is not connected to the Dubai Metro, doesn't share a network, and won't accept your Nol card.
Two separate systems, different operator
The Monorail is run by Nakheel, not RTA, and only runs along Palm Jumeirah itself, from Gateway Towers at the base of the Palm to Atlantis The Palm at the tip, stopping at Nakheel Mall along the way. It has its own ticketing entirely, priced per one-way or return trip rather than by fare zones.
How to actually get there from the Metro
Ride the Red Line or Tram toward the Marina area, then transfer to the Monorail for the final stretch onto the Palm, or simply take a taxi or ride-share for that last leg instead, since the Metro network doesn't extend onto the Palm at all.
Budget for a separate Monorail ticket if you're going that route. It's easy to assume your Nol card will just work everywhere in Dubai, but this is one of the exceptions.
- Palm Monorail is operated by Nakheel, not RTA
- Runs only within Palm Jumeirah: Gateway Towers, Nakheel Mall, Atlantis
- Does not accept Nol cards; needs its own separate ticket
- Reach it from the Metro via the Marina-area stations, then transfer or taxi
